Método para simular amostras probabilísticas com imagens em planilha: uma aplicação educacional em biologia

Resumen
O ensino de estatística é parte integrante de currículos de diversas áreas do conhecimento no ensino superior. Especificamente, a estatística inferencial necessita de novas práticas pedagógicas para superar o pensamento determinístico apresentados por muitos estudantes de maneira a desenvolver uma transição para conceitos probabilísticos, a base da inferência estatística. Neste sentido, este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar um recurso didático para simular amostras, com imagens em planilha com o propósito de desenvolver conceitos estatísticos inferenciais associados à resolução de problemas práticos na área de Biologia. O desenho de pesquisa utilizado para o trabalho em foco foi quantitativo, exploratório e descritivo. Os resultados sobre a aprendizagem dos conceitos estatísticos inferências foram positivos. No que diz respeito a avaliação dos alunos, 77% consideram que a atividade apresenta interdisciplinaridade e dinamismo o que contribuiu para entender os conceitos do processo de estimativa por intervalo de confiança. As atividades com o uso da simulação com imagens em planilha mostraram que o procedimento adotado pode ser um aliado no ensino da inferência, e que a combinação da simulação e de atividades práticas envolvendo a simulação com imagens pode enriquecer a aprendizagem.
