Resumen
La investigación en educación matemática avanzaba lentamente, en contraste el uso de la tecnología fue evolucionando rápidamente. Fue hasta en 1960, que matemáticos y matemáticos educativos comenzaron a sentir que la tecnología podría tener efectos significativos en la enseñanza y aprendizaje de las matemáticas; la visualización, el modelado y programación fueron considerados como las grandes potencialidades de la tecnología. Con los primeros enfoques de investigación se hablaba de enseñanza asistida por computadora, y algunas de las experiencias que se estudiaron fueron el uso de LOGO y el proyecto PLATO. Ambos servirán en este cartel para ilustrar qué enfoques teóricos se utilizaron en estas investigaciones y qué resultados nos proporcionaron.
