Aprendizaje matemático multilingüe: qué se sabe y desde qué teorías

Resumen
En este texto, reviso avances de la investigación en educación matemática y lengua a fin de compartir parte del conocimiento generado en este dominio. Esta tarea de revisión ha de servir como recurso para aquellos académicos con interés en construir una cierta comprensión sobre qué se sabe en la actualidad, especialmente en relación con el aprendizaje matemático multilingüe. Bajo el supuesto de que la producción de conocimiento siempre se da en el nivel de la teoría, empiezo con consideraciones sobre las teorías sociales de la enseñanza y del aprendizaje de matemáticas. Estas son las teorías que están contribuyendo principalmente, por una parte, a la expansión del dominio y, por otra, a la refinación de líneas específicas de desarrollo.
