Las posibles tensiones entre investigar y enseñar, el caso de los experimentos de enseñanza: traducción comentada del artículo Teaching Experiment Methodology: Underlying Principles and Essential Elements

Los experimentos de enseñanza son una metodología de investigación que recién se está empezando a usar en el territorio nacional, sin embargo, estos se han venido realizando desde hace años en otros lugares como Estados Unidos; algunas de sus finalidades son mejorar la calidad de la educación y conectar la teoría con la práctica educativa y a todos los que están relacionados con ella: estudiantes en formación docente, docentes en ejercicio, docentes en proceso de realizar una maestría, docentes universitarios e investigadores en educación. Como esta metodología se ha desarrollado principalmente en un país que habla inglés, la teoría disponible está fuertemente ligada a tal idioma, no obstante, los intereses de aquella metodología de investigación son compartidos con los países de habla hispana; por ello se propone traducir un documento en el que están sus principios elementales, y por esta vía realizar una reflexión que estudie algunas de las tensiones que surgen entre teoría y práctica, en la que además se explore la manera en la cual los experimentos de enseñanza aportan al análisis de algunas de dichas tensiones. Se plantea así en este trabajo una traducción, de tipo intralingüística, del texto Teaching Experiment Methodology: Underlying Principles and Essential Elements de los autores Leslie P. Steffe y Patrick W. Thompson; resaltando la traducción como un acto comunicativo, como una operación entre textos y como un proceso mental, en el que el traductor es visto como un mediador cultural. Además, y como aporte al campo de la Educación Matemática, se propone un texto que expone las tensiones entre teoría y práctica, en un ejercicio de diálogo entre el texto traducido y otros referentes teóricos.
