Resumen
El presente trabajo forma parte del seminario de investigación “Una panorámica de investigaciones sobre pensamiento numérico y pensamiento algebraico”. De forma más específica, el objetivo de este estudio es ofrecer una visión general de las investigaciones en desarrollo del sentido numérico en la etapa de educación primaria a través de la revisión de la producción científica publicada en SCOPUS en ese ámbito. Se han seleccionado 219 publicaciones (artículos, libros y capítulos de libros) y se han analizado desde tres perspectivas: contexto, impacto y contenido de las publicaciones. Del análisis se extrae que la investigación en este ámbito se ha centrado fundamentalmente en medir el sentido numérico manifestado por los estudiantes para vincularlo con el rendimiento académico o con posibles dificultades posteriores en matemáticas, más que en el desarrollo e implementación de programas formativos que promuevan el desarrollo del sentido numérico.
