Resumen
En este estudio se presentan las componentes del sentido espacial en base al análisis de la literatura e investigaciones relevantes sobre el tema. Con estas componentes, se hace un primer estudio exploratorio sobre las características presentadas por los modelos geométricos y las seis figuras que componen algunos ítems de un test que mide la capacidad visual. Se presenta una caracterización que sirve para analizar y mostrar la relación existente entre las propiedades de los modelos geométricos de cada ítem del test y sus respectivas figuras, y los aciertos y errores presentados en su aplicación por un grupo de estudiantes.
