La enseñanza de la función logarítmica como inversa de la función exponencial: un estudio de caso

Resumen
En este documento se presenta cómo un profesor, a través de su práctica, modela la función logarítmica como inversa de la función exponencial. El análisis de la práctica del profesor se realiza desde una perspectiva sociocultural y la teoría APOE mostrando que el mecanismo de reversión se modela con otros mecanismos de construcción, como la interiorización, la desencapsulación y la coordinación. Para ello se utilizan diferentes registros como el simbólico o el gráfico y se realiza tanto de una forma global, con la función genérica y = ax, como local, con funciones particulares como y = 2x, y = 10x, y = 5x. Los métodos utilizados para realizar la inversión también son variados: deshacer, cambiar las variables y despejar, componer una función y su inversa o realizar la simétrica de la gráfica de la función.
