Resumen
En este artículo discutiremos nuestro acercamiento a una de las operaciones que sometemos a las funciones, la integración, incluso antes de que los estudiantes de cálculo hayan construido con mayor robustez a éstas. Este trabajo ha sido desarrollado bajo la visión socioepistemológica apoyándonos en la ingeniería didáctica como metodología de investigación, y donde hemos escogido como herramienta de aprendizaje a la geometría dinámica. En este sentido, reflexionaremos sobre la construcción de algunas funciones escolares desde un regreso a elementos básicos de la geometría que, desde la irrupción de la visión euleriana en el siglo XVIII, ha sido relegada a un segundo plano en el estudio del cálculo escolar.
