Análisis cualitativo de un aprendizaje estadístico temprano con la mirada de los espacios de trabajo matemático orientado por el ciclo investigativo

Resumen
La investigación en estadística temprana requiere atender a la progresión del aprendizaje estadístico, en especial, a la capacidad de los estudiantes de primaria de crear representaciones que involucran datos en contextos reales. Esta investigación cualitativa describe y caracteriza una lección de estadística relacionada con el análisis exploratorio de datos en el cuarto grado de enseñanza. Se diseñó e implementó dicha lección y se recolectaron las representaciones de datos que produjeron tres estudiantes de 9 a 10 años. Desde una perspectiva global y local, se analiza la lección y sus implicancias en el aprendizaje respectivamente, según las etapas del ciclo investigativo y las génesis de los espacios de trabajo matemático estadístico. Se concluye que potencialmente la lección generó un espacio de trabajo que proveyó de opor- tunidad de aprendizaje estadístico, permitiendo a los estudiantes vivenciar una aproximación de los procedimientos que utiliza un estadístico para pensar y aprender más en la esfera del contexto, razonando y comunicando sus ideas con evidencia empírica basada en datos.
